The charger that came with my Canon camrea quit working. The red "charge" light quit coming on and it quit charging the battery. I decided that I wanted the same model of charger again because it is smaller and doesn't come with a bulky, separate cord, so it would be easier to travel with. Well, the new charger that I ordered works good. It charges the battery fine. So I didn't have to buy a new battery.

Simply put, if you need this for your Canon lithium batteries, either because you want a second charger or the first one is lost or broken, there is not a good substitute. Works perfectly at it's limited function. Although it was overpriced by Canon, Amazon's price was the best I could find.

I am very satisfied with the Canon CB-2LU Battery Charger I purchased from 17th Street Photo. My concern was that the charger had to be a genuine Canon product, not an aftermarket product. The charger is new, came in a genuine Canon box with instructions,and was at my door steps before I new it. Hopefully I won't leave it behind in the hotel room the next time I go out of town.

I purchased this battery after using one of the non-Cannon batteries. The latter worked fine for awhile but, in about a year, gave out and would not recharge. I've never had this problem with a Cannon battery. They keep on working. They're worth the small difference in up-front cost.

Lenmar DLC3L Lithium-ion Digital Camera/Camcorder Battery Equivalent to the Canon NB-3L Battery

My wife and I have struggled paying a premium price for a battery because it says Canon. We purchased a Canon SD10 for our point and shoot needs a few years back. The original batteries eventually wore out. We bought a replacement Canon battery and eventually it wore out too.

Warning!!!! We tried the inexpensive batteries from EBAY; stay away from these; they are junk! Unless 10 pictures before the battery dies is acceptable.

This Lenmar battery is as good as the original and its price is reasonable; thank you fellow Amazon reviewers for erasing my doubt! I plan to buy a second as backup.

I've purchased off-brand batteries for my Cannon SD10 before, and been disappointed.

However, I was willing to risk a few dollars to save the $40+ that Canon gets for their battery, so I purchased one of these.

I've used it for a month straight now, exhausting and re-charging it twice in that time. It's performed exactly the same as the stock battery the entire time.

I am very happy with this purchase, and will probably buy another one.

Purchased 2 since the price was affordable. My Canon battery was working fine, but I needed extra battery power for hiking/backpacking trips when I was away from a power outlet for days.

I have not noticed any difference in performance between my original Canon battery and the Lenmar units.

I lost my original Cannon Battery and charger in the classroom, so I bought two DLC3L and one charger. I thought I could save myself some money, but it turned out that both of them last no more than 3 months.
I finally decided to buy an original Cannon battery because when I was going to film my child's graduation, it turned out both fully charged batteries could not do the job within the two-hour ceremony. I had to close to outlet and kept changing the battery in my camera.
Anyway, I lost the precious moment of my child.

The charger was a pain too. I have to use a small piece of paper to fill in the gap to make battery to closely attach to the electric contact.

I got the Ultralast UL NB3L Canon NB -3L camera battery and I have been using it since I got it, it has been a few weeks now, but last night when I took my camera and wanted to charge the battery, the battery would not pop out. So now I have to go fix it somewhere.
