What can I say; its like the original, its a canon, and its priced like they're proud of it. I haven't got up the nerve to purchase an off brand version yet. My camera gear is too expensive to take a chance.

Have been advised by friends to go for 3rd party batteries with bigger capacity at a lower cost. But the one I got turned out to be a dud. Unable to hold charge after 3 cycles. At least this one is still going strong.

Canon EOS D60 Battery.......2007-11-09

I bought a couple of these batteries to replace my original Canon batteries which were all suffering from a pretty serious memory effect. These batteries work fine. They are slightly smaller than my old ones, but fit in my D60 just as well. They seem to be slightly faster at recycling the flash than my old batteries, but then again my batteries were OLD. I am happy with my purchase although I am always a little bit annoyed by the price of genuine Canon parts.
