Mostly Canon Issues with the card.......2007-12-13
Mostly Canon with the memory access problems.
Anyway for cards this large one should not continously delete as not deleating will force use of the rest of the memory space. Full delete for large shoots, raw formats, and trips.
Flash memory does have a FINITE number of times the cells can be modified.
Resulting in corrupted data hard errors.

So far this has been a great card for me. I shoot in RAW and can cram like 200 shots onto the card. It is a tad slower than my Extreme III cards, but since it cost less, I am OK with that.

I love this 4 GB card. I use it in my 10.1MP digital camera (Canon XTi EOS 400D). The CF card's high capacity and speed make taking lots of high-resolution pictures a true joy. (I photograph using RAW mode.) Highly recommended.

This was a good buy. I had an initial moment of panic when it seemed like the adapter wouldn't work. I got it to work after a few minutes of fiddling. I work in tech support so it definitely wasnt me- had to apply a little brute force and it worked just fine. I highly recommend this little item.

This is a plug in clock with a battery backup (which is not entirely clear from the description). It is very small (definitely fits in the palm of your hand) but has a very clear LCD. I like that you can customize the color for the display but I found the basic blue shown in the picture works the best. It is perfect as a second clock for the other side of the bed--presuming there are two people.

Better Business Bureau rates PQI as unsatisfactory........2007-08-20
I purchased a PQI memory card and it died after about two months.
Although PQI advertises a lifetime guarantee on their memory products and their website has you fill out an RMA request form and email it to them as an attachment, the email address they give is invalid. All subsequent emails to PQI regarding the invalid email address and warranty processing were not responded to.
According to the Better Business Bureau "this company has an unsatisfactory record".

I just bought a new 50 in Plasma TV. The sound from the tv itself is louses. I am building my own sound system. I just added the Cerwin Vega! VE-5C Center Speaker. I'm selling my B&W's for a set of these.......2006-05-08
For 2 weeks, I put these speakers up against my B&W 805S. I ended up purchasing a set of 5 plus 4 of the matching bass enclosures. These monsters rock big time!! They have a very warm and forward sound stage with amazing clarity at high volumes. Don't get me wrong, B&W is still king when it comes to audio and nothing can match their build, design and sound quality...they set the benchmark. At this price point, however, the Monsters ran a close second. It would cost me almost three times as much if I filled my room with B&Ws. Buy my B&W 805S on San Diego Craigslist today...I'm in the hole because of these Monsters!!
