Haier fan not worth the money.......2007-06-27
Wondered if I was the only one that the fan only worked for about a month and then would take 4-5 minutes before it would start up. Finally it stopped altogether and began to smell like it was overheating. Would not recommend spending money on it. Got it mainly since it was oscillating and had a stand AND clip.

I have one of these fans sitting on my desk blowing air at me as I write this. It's keeping me cool, but there are a few things I would like to change.
Pros:
- Moves air very well even on low setting
- Oscillation works well for a cheap fan
- Can be used as a desktop fan or a clip-on fan
- Adjustable hinge mount
Cons:
- Noisy (no whisper quiet here, more like a highly-muffled airplane prop)
- After a period of time, turning the fan on low does not get the blades moving; you have to put it on high, let it run for a few seconds, then put it on low
- The hinge mount is made out of plastic, so if you adjust the angle of this fan a lot, there is the possibility of the hinge teeth grinding down or breaking
Since I am using this fan in an office setting, the noise is my biggest gripe since I have to turn off the fan to talk to anyone on the phone or in my office.

Even on low setting it moves a LOT of air. The dual stand (stand + clip-on thingy) is quite useful. Only downside: it's a little loud on high setting, but you do have a monsoon in your room.

I too am not happy with this fan. It didn't work right the day I received it. When I turn it on, it takes a good minute or two for it to start. Maybe I need to try what the other customer said, and that is to take off the screen and use WD-40, although this should not be necessary in a new fan.

this fridge it a bit too big and bulky, I should have gone with a small size since I am using it for my office.
The fridge arrived pretty banged up. There were a couple of dents in it and it wouldn't stand up straight until I straightened out a metal piece on the bottom.

Great little refrigerator and delivers as promised. I very much like the larger size compared to the size of most compact refrigerators. The freezer section is a bit small, so if you're looking to store a bag of ice or a frozen turkey you're out of luck. Mine was damaged slightly during shipping due to the poor protection around the door, but Amazon customer service took care of me as always. Recommend this product very much.

I own this piece of...equipment. It was given to me for Christmas from my Daughter and I Loved it! UNTIL...it quit, just quit. It was manufactured in October 2006, I received it Christmas 2006, it's warrnty was good until March 2007 and it quit April 2007. When I got in touch with the Company they said, "Sorry!!!"...and when I quizzed a friend of mine who owns a T.V. Store and Electronics Repair Shop he said most shops don't repair them because the parts cost more than the Unit and even if they did repair them the labor would be equal to the cost of a new Unit. His recommendation, either buy American or buy an extended warranty if one is available and if you buy one as a Gift, purchase the warranty as part of the gift as well. As for my "Haier" Portable DVD, it's somewhere between the Potato peelings and the Carrot shavings.

If one wanted to use this monitor as a vary low budget reference monitor for say a cheep security system sure, but over all it's bad. It has bad color that's heard to balance to get anything that looks half way decent; has bad brightness and contrasts that bleaches out the picture vary easily; has buttons that malfunction triggering other functions not intended; has bad reception with lots and lots of snow. The only really good looking video you get out of it is when you desacherat the image giving you a black and white display, but even then the image is smashed because there is no aspect ratio selection. If your looking for a Portable TV or reference monitor look somewhere els. !!!DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

I bought this product with some initial hesitation because of the other reviews. The worry went away as soon as I opened the package. I opened up the package to find everything I needed and more. The setup was easy and painless. Everything about this product is great, from the price to the picture. It is easily the best buy for a small screen LCD. I definately will recommend this to anyone looking for a small easy to work TV

Just received this TV and went through menu setup. The instruction wording should be revised to be more clear. The TV picture quality is above average for this small of a color TV while on the built-in antenna. The remote is a great help. The three power options is very helpful. It also has a cabel TV adapter which worked well. I used the A/V adapter with a DVD player and had no problems. Overall, I am well pleased and would recommend buying through Amazon to be safe. Terrible Product.......2007-07-10
I got this as a Christmas present and should have returned it when I still could. I live in a large city and the reception with the built in antenna is poor at best. Nothing but snow on all channels but even our strongest channels are very poor reception. I agree completely with the previous review. This TV should be pulled off the shelves as it is totally worthless. I gave it one star because that was as low as you could rate it.

The first Haier boombox we ordered did not work. We shipped the product back at our expense plus ins. We contacted Etronics the distributor of the problem. They sent back another boombox that had the same problem as the first one. The TV did not work and the unit would not charge. Once again we contacted Haier of the problem. They said they would send a new battery pack. They did. It was the wrong one. We then returned the box at Etronic's expense and are waiting for our refund. The entire matter has been frustrating and expensive.
Didn't work.......2007-07-17
Unit seemed like a nice idea since it has many functions, but I found that none of them worked that well. The CD/DVD player repeated failed to load disks but would work eventually and was getting better the more we tried discs in it. One DVD with no scratches would skip every few seconds while all the others I tried worked fine. The speakers were not very good given the price of the unit. The radio tuner was alright though it was one of the old style manual knobs instead of something digital, which I thought was kinda cheap. The TV portion didn't work since where I'm at (Seaside, OR) doesn't have a UHF signal being broadcast, but that wasn't why I bought it so no big deal. The latch for the lid seemed very flimsy but I didn't have the unit long enough for it to break. But all that would have been alright except that the unit WOULD NOT CHARGE. Since it didn't work, I returned it and did not get a replacement.

My wife and I travel quite a bit in our RV and we often stay where there are no ac hookups. We purchased this product so that we could watch tv or a DVD movie when we have no electric available to us. This unit is actually a complete home entertainment system in one compact unit. The LCD screen has very nice picture quality and the audio is excellent. It runs on ac and it also has it's own Ni-Mh rechargeable battery built in as well. I was disappointed in that it does not have RCA type audio/video inputs as most electronic items of today do, but you can get around this by using the RF type input (the same as your TV has). We have our Satelite receiver connected to ours via an RG56 cable from the output of the Satelite receiver to the RF input of the Haier Boombox. I then tune it to channel 3 and can receive satelite TV. It does have some very nice features, such as a remote control that has a menu item for adjusting picture quality or fine tuning various TV stations. It also has a 12 volt auto cord to run the unit from your car or RV. I am a retired professional video producer and was very impressed with this item. We have had this item for a little over a month now and are completely satisfied. I give this item 5 stars!

Nice Picture - Cable TV Compatible.......2007-03-08
I purchased this TV to hook up to cable in my office. After reading the description, I wasn't sure if this could be done. Fortunately, it ended up being cable TV compatible. It has an antenna input. You just need to purchase an adapter to turn a coaxial cable into a 1/8" plug. It also has an audio/video input (cable included) and headphone input. This TV comes with a removable stand (shown in the product photo). It also comes with a mounting bracket for cars. I used the bracket to attach the TV to a wall in my office. This TV has a lot of features that surprised me - On screen menus, a remote, and a vehicle power adapter. You can set the incoming signal to CATV or ANT. It will also automatically scan and program channels. You can manually delete channels, too. The picture is nice and it does have adjustable picture settings for brightness, contrast, color, and tint. This TV definitely exceeded my expectations!
