I bought this as an extra battery for my new Kodak EasyShare One. It lasts a long time and recharges quickly. If you are in the market for a quality camera battery, this is it.
Real battery, wrong item........2005-10-05
As the previous reviewer pointed out, this is NOT the KLIC-5001 1700 mAh battery as described in the Product Details, it is the lower capacity (1050 mAh) KLIC-5000.
At least it is the Kodak battery, if that matters to you. (I have a new Kodak camera and want to protect the warranty.) If not, plenty of places sell the generic KLIC-5001 for less than Amazon sells the Kodak KLIC-5000.

the battery is half the side of the battery came with the camera an last half the time, an number or not the same ,an it,s not the same battery. do not buy any thing from them because lying about what they are selling.

Just received this item, so too soon to tell if it's satisfactory or not, The thing is - I thought from the description that I was ordering a Kodak product. Turns out to be a Kodak compatible product. Here's what it said: "Brand New Kodak Digital Camera & Camcorder Home Travel Charger with Car Adapter For KLIC-5000 Battery Compatible w/ Models: Kodak DX6490 . . . ." What would you have thought? I know the word "compatible" is in there, but in my opinion, it's in the wrong place. I believe it should have said "Brand New Kodak COMPATIBLE Digital Camera & Camcorder Home Travel Charger . . . ."
