Review of Deluxe Photo/Video Bag.......2007-11-16
We purchased this bag to carry a Cannon Video Camera, Charger, and accessories. We were able to get everything in the 5 pockets of the bag. This was the only bag in this price range we could fine that would work. This is a very good buy.
Wonderful experience with customer service........2007-08-14
I received my bag, but noticed the the mini tripod and cleaning kit that was supposed to come with this bag kit wasn't in the box. I immediately called Amazon customer service. It took less than a minute to get a live person. I explained to the customer service rep that I DID receive the bag, but that those two items were missing. He offered me two options. One was a partial refund, the other was to send out a completely new kit (bag, tripod, cleaning kit), as they couldn't be shipped separately. At first, I was unhappy because I didn't want my very expensive camera to be unprotected while I shipped back the bag I had, then waited for the new one to be shipped. I expressed this to him, and he said that the bag didn't have to be shipped back until I received my new one. Problem solved! I would get the whole kit, and still not have to worry about a broken, or scratched camera. And on top of that, return shipping of the bag was free AND my new kit was upgraded to 2-day shipping. All without and extra dollar on my part. The man I spoke to was VERY kind, apologetic and helpful. One of the BEST customer service experiences I have ever had. T
The bag I did receive is very nice. The side pockets are large enough for extra batteries and several memory cards. The front pocket is able to fit a few filters in their hard plastic cases. The main pocket will comfortably fit my camera, with lens attached (camera w/ lens dimensions are: 5.0 (W) x 3.7 (H) x 5.1 (D) in.). The bag is well padded, with thick outer material. The zippers are nice and sturdy. The strap has a padded section with a non-slip surface on the underside so the bag will stay in place once on your shoulder. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the bag is accented with a pleasing gray.
I will definitely purchase from Amazon again. Excellent customer service willing to go out of their way to fix any problems WITHOUT inconvenience to the customer, will always win me over. It's sad that that is so uncommon today. I'm sorry I didn't catch my representative's name, because I would love to thank him again, as well as make sure his kindness did NOT go unnoticed. Good people deserve the recognition, as there seem to be so few. Good job Amazon.

These things are available individually and of equal quality locally, esp. the battery recharger. A Panasonic, higher rated in the reviews, would have served equally. However, they are as advertised and arrived in a very timely manner. I'm criticizing my shopping!!!

This accessories kit gives me rechargeable batteries, saving me tie & money. The other accessories are items I would have had to buy separately for at a higher cost. A good purchase.
Bait and Switch?.......2006-11-02
This is the first complaint on anything I have bought through Amazon. This product was fulfilled through 47th Street Photo. I specifically ordered it because it was advertised as Canon brand name products. When the order came, it was a Samsonite camera case (nice, but bigger than the Canon item), and "off-brand" batteries and charger, similar to ones that I've had trouble with in the past. It was specifically the Canon batteries I wanted, in addition to the case. I won't go through the return process, but I'll think twice before ordering something again not sent directly by Amazon.

Everything works with my camera just like it said it would. Only negative was that the secondary vendor also sent me someone elses order, and although I emailed them several times and call once I could never get a response as to what to do with the extra item.
