Buyer Beware! Amazon's price is MUCH higher!.......2007-12-26
Imagine how surprised I was to see that Amazon charges more than $25.00 MORE for the same 4GB card by San Disk. It opened my eyes to the fact that Amazon is not ALWAYS competitive, although in the past they usually have been. I can't imagine what happened here, but keep your guard up and save yourself some money. By the way, I did manage to save over $25.00 by calling customer service for a refund of a price being lowered within a thirty-day period of purchase, especially during this holiday season. Conversely, they will raise the price on a hot seller, too. Keep checking back on previously bought merchandise to see if Amazon has lowered the price within your thirty day period; you'll find it's worth your time, and I have to applaud Amazon for being very gracious and prompt in doing so.
Great price, great service.......2007-12-03
I didn't know that my cell phone doesn't work w/ Sdhc. A brief reminder about comatibility would have saved me sending it back and forth. However, I got great service and the price is good too.

Good buy.......2007-11-23
This was a good buy. I had an initial moment of panic when it seemed like the adapter wouldn't work. I got it to work after a few minutes of fiddling. I work in tech support so it definitely wasnt me- had to apply a little brute force and it worked just fine. I highly recommend this little item.
Works Well.......2007-07-04
the card seems to work just fine. I haven't had a problem with it. I like the Lifetime warranty it came with to.
Simple product at a great price.......2007-07-03
I spent over $100 on a 2GB mini from another manufacturer with my phone from the store. This card works just as good and was a fraction of the cost.
great price, exact item.......2007-06-16
Shipped on time and was exactly what I wanted.
Best choice for mini memory.......2007-06-05
I needed this mini memory card for my cell phone and found it to be the best choice. The card and adapter are exacty as promised. The packaging is neat and new and the card speeds are incredibly fast. For anything needing a mini card, I recommend this product.

Great SD card.......2007-12-07
I have store over 500 photos on this card, and they came out great. The card saved and moved the data at a good rate of speed.
Great item - shipping kills the deal!.......2007-04-07
This is a great product at a good price. However, many vendors here are charging exorbitant shipping fees. This one is $6 or so to ship something that reall only costs maybe a dollar to ship.
That kills the deal for me. If it was elegible for Prime I would do it with the free ship, but this shipping charge kicks it up higher than competing stores charge.
I just bought the same exact item for several dollars less at theflashstore dot com.
Great Price!!!!!!.......2007-04-06
I'm using the SD card in my Nikon D40. I have had no problems. The speed in taking and retrieving my pictures are great. Can't beat the price for a 2GB high-speed SD card. I would purchase again in the future.
SD Card for my Pentax K10D.......2007-03-31
Card works fine in camera, fast. Works OK in card reader also. Arrived on time. I am happy.
Works fine on D80.......2007-03-28
Purchased for my Nikon D80. Measured at (write jpg) 8.989MB/sec and (write raw) 7.821MB/sec. Only SanDisk Extreme III is faster by half a mb for writing jpgs. I bought this brand because I had two 1gb 66x pro ridata cards for my old canon s2 which also worked fine.

Your 4GB IronKey gives you military-grade security in the palm of your hand, allowing you to protect your data with hardware-based encryption, store and manage your online passwords, and surf the Web safely and privately. Further, your IronKey is optimized for speed and designed to be rugged, tamperproof, and waterproof.
Amazon.com Product Description
The IronKey 4 GB secure hardware-encrypted flash drive protects your data, online passwords, and Internet privacy with hardware-based encryption. Now you can safely carry your digital files with you wherever you go and surf the Web privately through almost any network--even across unsecured wireless hotspots. Furthermore, the IronKey is optimized for speed and designed to be waterproof and tamperproof. The IronKey Cryptochip uses hardware-based encryption, which is faster, more secure, and easier to use (no software or drivers to install) than software-based encryption.
Although it employs advanced military-grade security, it is a cinch to use and requires only a password to unlock it. Manage all of your online accounts and passwords in one place with direct access and protection against keystroke-logging spyware and other online threats. If Cryptochip detects any physical tampering by a thief or a hacker, it will self-destruct. And if your IronKey is ever lost or stolen, you can easily restore your lost data and passwords to a new IronKey.
Customer Reviews:
Absolute necessity for carrying data.......2007-12-23
I purchased one IronKey (1 GB) because I needed a secure way to carry a very large number of records files, mostly Word and Excel files. Because I had tried a number of flash drives and other hardware, I didn't think any kind of flash drive would be adequate. However, I was surprised: the IronKey performed beautifully, was simple to use and very secure. Perfect!
I have only minor complaints, fewer than I've had for other new products. The secure password storage feature is very handy, but it can be an annoyance on occasion. And I can't use two IronKeys simultaneously on one computer, when that would make it much easier to back up from one IronKey to another.
But I have purchased two more: one for my wife (2 GB) a 2 GB for me. Now I use my first one for data backup to my larger one. They are soooo easy to carry about: I attached a cell phone mini lanyard and keep them clipped inside my planner.
The IronKeys seem to use a bit more power resource than some flash drives, probably a reflection of the fact that so many of the features are hardware based. So it you put it in a usb slot shared by other energy intensive hardware, such as a web cam, it could keept he other from working smoothly. But I have not run into a problem that couldn't be solved easily. Works with Vista or XP.
Tech support and forum support are great. Responsive and fast, but not needed very much.
A truly indispensable bit of hardware at a great price. Really great as replacements for my Zip and Jazz drives, and handier than mini hard drives. I'm really, really pleased with IronKeys.
Excellent security product.......2007-12-23
I have the Iron Key 4gb and I cannot live without it. As said in some other reviews and as admitted by IK themselves, there are some convenience features that would be nice to have. They are very open on their forum about both strengths and weaknesses, reasons why they did things as they did and plans for the future.
This is not a toy, it is a high security device. If you really want a flash drive with some extras like TrueCrypt, this is probably not the best value. If you want a drive that has the most solid encryption for the money, this is it. Good security does come at some price of convenience though.
The "Secure Sessions" feature is a very nice feature for people who need to communicate on the web while hiding their location or preventing local intrusion to their messages. An example of legitimate use would be someone who is being stalked and does not wish their place in the world known. It is also useful for security administrators who wish to investigate intrusions without tipping their hand that they are aware of the intrusion.
As with all security systems, if you really are counting on privacy and security then you should carefully read about the features and be sure you are using them correctly.
I have started storing things on my IK that I would not store even on my home PC in cleartext.
Waste of money.......2007-11-05
If your main concern is whether or not you can submerge your flash drive in water or not, then this is the USB drive for you. If your concern is security only, then you can do the same thing for under $40. Check out this article here: http://www.bauer-power.net/2007/11/seriouslywhy-pay-more.html
Not quite ready for prime time.......2007-09-21
What it does, it does pretty well. It looks dang good. It's a great secure thumb drive. There are a few shortcomings that are pretty well documented in Ironkey's forum. To the Company's credit, they usually respond truthfully and say "Yep. Thanks for pointing that out. That doesn't work quite right. We're working on it." But it's still kind of disappointing.
Issues I've had in the week I've had it and used it include the following:
* When you enter a login on a web site, it asks if you want it to save the info in its PW manager. If you make a mistake and click "Never" rather than "Cancel" or if you clicked "Never" and change your mind, it will not let you recover to a prior state and enroll that site for auto login. As configured, "Never" really does mean "Never". Never ever ever.
* The control screen interface is slick, but if you add portable apps, there is apparently no way to add them to the Ironkey's control screen. To launch them, you have to go into its secure files tab (Windows Explorer type interface) and find your executable in order to launch it.
Don't get me wrong, I like the product. It lets me do some real cool things I wouldn't otherwise be able to do. But fix some of the bugs, and you have a super product.
The most functional secure drive of its kind........2007-09-12
I have tried the 1 GB 2 GB and 4 GB. They are all the same as far as the interface. You can lock out your drive forever if you lose your password. That is by design, obviously no backdoors, if there were believe me you would hear about it. Simplicity in itself the ten password lockout can't be fooled, once locked its locked. One of the innovations is the ability to manage the data and store encrypted copies that will only work on a different key with the original password. So if you lose it no one can get in unless you use "password" as your password etc.
So you're safe far beyond any reasonable standard. Also there is multi layered levels of security that you choose so it can be stronger with a log and a needed email code confirmation to recover a password, or you can choose not just 3 security questions but 4 or 5 and there much more detailed and again the security is to the level where the weakest link is the one thing a product can't help with witch is password strength and security protocol.
They are also a very quickly growing respected company right in Los Altos CA in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Same city the apple was born. Same city I used to live, my last apple was the IIC. But just to be clear I don't have anything to do with the company, except as a customer. The bottom line this is about security of data and the ability to use windows based computer without leaving any records or things behind. So if it's a solid secure key you are looking for nothing on the market comes close. Just remember this is for security it weighs a little more it does not say on the key weather it is 1 2 or 4gb which is nice for an inconspicuous key. The only thing is make sure to mark the key on the side where there is a soft plate you can engrave with a pen. And note the cereal number. They all look the same, this could be the one drawback in a lost and found situation, or networking meeting. Sorry for the strange all over the place review, I have been a customer for over ten years purchased the majority of books and media I would have otherwise bought in stores, around 500 items, recycled a lot of cardboard, I even remember the UPS Strike of 1997 I was able to place my first pre-order. but this is my first review, I am just trying to help I am not a writter as you can tell.

Rover is a compact, portable data storage/transfer device that doubles as a MP3 audio player, FM radio and Voice Recorder. It has exceptional sound quality as an MP3 player and is the ultimate in simple data file transfers (no cables or software needed!).
Customer Reviews:
joy of portable music.......2007-12-30
Is easy to use, fits perfectly in a pocket and the earplugs are good. Still need to check out the radio, which was important argument for buying it.
what remains is excellent.......2007-02-14
True, there's no integrated radio and
the separate radio/phone set thing is worthless...
but they never mention this, so I got my SmartDisk Rover
FOR FREE when I complained to my credit card co..
But having said that, what remains of the SmartDisk Rover MP3 Player is excellent.
Ease and speed of data transfer is exceptional. No software is needed on most systems.
The controls are fairly intuitive, a rarity these days.
The MP3 sound is better than my iRiver 799 player, which
itself is considered the standard.
Finally I much prefer this single AAA battery power source to anything proprietary
(as required with Apple units).
Unfortunately, or perhaps sensing the PR disaster from the radio thingy glitch,
SmartDisk does NOT support the product - no user guide.
Mine came with a CD of tricks for Windows - but it seems that's all in the past.
VERY DISAPPOINTED With Smartdisk & Amazon.......2005-07-10
NO WHERE did it say or show that the F.M. Radio was a separate contraption that is similiar to what Walmart sells for $1.00 and that you could not use the MP3 Player without it due to the headphones being permanently connected to the radio. Once you hook everything together and put around your neck, you
look like something from Star Wars. Also, the hold button on the MP3 Player came broken, but because I also said that I was dissatisfied with the product, Amazon made me pay for the shipping back!!!

Customer Reviews:
MicroSD.......2007-11-27
Great item, works like a charm. Just make sure your equipment supports 2gb and everything will be ok.
Bigger is not better.......2007-07-04
I purchased this micro card to put into the Motorola Razr V3i. Motorola does not permit the phone to read memory in excess of 1GB. They are not yet ready to upgrade the current version of their software. I don't know if ATT is requiring this limit or if Motorola is simply not working on the support. It would be advisable to wait to purchase this product until the phone hardware manufacturers catch up with the computing industry.
Works great so far on my Cingular 8525.......2007-03-17
I installed this on my Cingular 8525 phone to store built in camera photos. At first when I installed in the memory slot, the phone didn't recognize the card at all. Once I pressed the reset button, it found the card. It registers 1914MB on the phone.
Product Description
Another great invention from SanDisk, the microSD is about a quarter of the size of an SD card and is the newest standard of SD flash memory specifically designed for use with ultra-small mobile phones and other devices. Like the miniSD, the microSD/TransFlash is ideal for use in storing media-rich files such as music, videos, and photographs in compatible mobile phones.
Customer Reviews:
No complaints.......2007-12-30
As a memory card..... this one does it's job. I ordered this card for my cell phone - Nokia N75. My phone has a camera, music player and options to save many other kinds of data. I have had my phone for about six months without a memory card and this card worked out perfect.
A Rip Off.......2007-06-27
The SanDisk II MiniSD shows no difference between the regular or any other type of Mini SD's. SanDisk claims that thier new Version II model media is supposed to give you faster read times. "NOT" After spending a day of experimentations with transfer and video speeds, My 3gp videos still skip and freeze from time to time. Don't waste your money on this product.
Love It.......2007-01-23
You may think you don't need the Ultra II's speed, but do you? Do you know what device you will be using this card in next? I always try to purchase faster memory cards and I'm only sorry that they don't make an Extreme III in the Micro. I'm using a 512 MB, 1 GB, and 2 GB Ultra II for my Garmin 60CSx GPS and they work flawlessly. But then, why wouldn't they, they are SanDisk!

Customer Reviews:
Had it for 2 years and it's STILL going strong..........2007-12-30
knock wood. For what I paid for this little gem, I don't expect "state-of-the-art" with tons of bells and whistles. It does what I want it to do, play my favorite music for me and NOT break. It does have a fairly quality sound (with the 'right' tweaking) and IS RELIABLE (make sure you don't DROP it, STEP on it, LEAVE it out in the snow or SIT on it)...things/electronics tend to last longer if you avoid these actions. There is 1 thing that's not so great on it (after 2 years) and that's the flywheel. It tends to be somewhat unreponsive at times, but I'm going to try to use that 'canned-air' dust remover on it...hopefully that will work. I LIKE mine and I can't complain.
Quit Working after Two Years.......2007-12-17
I purchased this in early 2006 to use to work out with. Since then I have used it close to everyday and utilized the expansion slot for most of that time. Two days I tried to start it up and it was dead. I changed multiple batteries to see if I had a bad one, but not. It is done for. Before this it had signs of giving up the ghost, such as the sound would wildly fluctuate if I bumped the button. I believe I paid in the $80 range for this brand new and I am disappointed that it wasn't more durable. It was never dropped and was well taken care of as well. I guess it is time to join the cult of the iPod. Well, it worked great when it worked, hence, the three stars.
Greate player, easy to use.......2007-11-08
Bought it as a refub for $17. The most that I like is that I can connect it to my computer with usb cable, and the player shows as a disk, then I just delete the music file that I don't want and copy over the file that I want, without go through the sync up process like the ipod. It comes with a FM tuner as well. Unlike the ipod, once the bettery is dead, dead as the player. Just keep some rechargable betteries around, this thing can last forever. It also allow me to expend its memory up to 2 GB with memory card, which costs like nothing these days.
Great little mp3 player!.......2007-10-22
I've owned the e130 for over a year now and have had no problems with it whatsoever. I think I paid around $60 for it at the time. I chose this particular player for a number of reasons--it has an expansion slot for up to a 2GB SD card, an FM tuner, runs on one AAA battery, comes with a USB cable so you can use it as a storage drive if you're in a pinch (which I've done many times at work!). The earphones are probably middle-of-the-road; they're still better than a pair of $6.99 tin-can sounding ones, and I haven't had any problems with them falling out of my ears. Battery life is decent; I bought 4 rechargeable AAAs and a charger for around $30 total and they're still charging fine even a year later. All in all, it's a great little mp3 player that, to me, is a step above the iPod Shuffle.
Nice size. Audio so-so.......2007-08-12
I liked the fact I could replace battery instead of waiting for charge. Music was not so good sounding so I used for audiobooks only.
