I have bought this recording media before, and will by it again. I never have any difficulty with it, it doesn't matter if I'm making system backups, or burning old movies recorded from cable, It's always good quality, and if you look around you can find a price that makes it a bargain, too

I wasn't happy at all with this item because when I tried to burn movies into this blank DVDs, some of them did not work! I completely wasted about 4 blank DVDs. They did not work properly. I would recommend others to use different DVDs.

Great compatibility... great discs!!!.......2003-08-12
I've bought two 10-packs of these discs and I'm going to buy two more 10-packs. I've burned around 15 movies and they can be played in my two standalone players (Panasonic and Sony) and even in my PS2. Every disc is burned in around 12 minutes with my 4X burner. DVD+R offers great compatibility with most DVD players in the market and Memorex is a recognized good media brand. Also I recommend to use Stomp's RecordNow Max 4.5 to burn your DVD movies. This is the best combination to back up your movie collection: The best DVD standard + The best media + The best software. You won't regret to buy these discs. Highly recommended.

Don't Buy if you have a Dell........2004-03-05
I purchased two five packs and out of ten only 2 actually worked. Luckily enough I did not open the 50 pack I bought. I have replaced them with TDK's and I used up a 50 pack without any problems. I talked to employee at Office Max and he said I was not the first person to complain about Memorex blank Dvd's and Dell computers, of course when I was returning them. I suggest not buying in bulk right off the bat. Try out a five pack for 10 bucks instead of a 50 pack for 100 bucks.
Discs don't work with GoVideo DVD Recorder.......2004-03-03
I purchased a 50-pack of these discs because it was a good price and my GoVideo DVD Recorder is supposed to work with all DVD+R discs. However, I can't use any of the discs I purchased because my system won't read them and produces an error message. The tech support team at GoVideo said that it's because Memorex uses multiple manufacturers and some of their DVD+R discs don't work as well as others. Be cautious if you purchase these, so you aren't stuck with a lot of unusable discs.

Be careful.. Do not buy any product from the seller... it's really cheap. But they are sending different item not the one originally posted. This time I got 5pk not 10pk. Be aware. I have sent an email to the seller.. but, they are not responding to it.
Reliable medium to store media........2006-03-24
What can one say about DVD-RWs, other than that they do their job. Store media. I haven't had a problem with their burn speed, reliability, or price, and for that I approve of this product.
NOT for DVD Recorders.......2005-10-01
I have bought these discs for my DVD recorder, and I've encountered that it fails quite a few times with these discs. I called a technical support agent and he said that their recorders aren't the only ones with trouble with these Memorex discs. Several other recorders from other companies had trouble with these discs. I have heard, however, that when run on a computer, they have no problems at all. So, if you're using them for a computer, by all means, use them. But if you're using a DVD Recorder, do not, I repeat, DO NOT use them (although they do not fail ALL the time). Varying quality.......2004-11-05
My experience is that the quality of this Memorex +RW media varies. I have perhaps burned about 80 of these and about 1-2 in every ten runs into problems. In some cases I was able to use problem DVD:s if I set the burning to ca 4.5 instead of the default 4.7 but sometimes the media could not be used at all.
I use a NEC ND-1300A and I guess the Plextor mentioned is better so it is probable that with a better burner you may fair better (But the NEC is NOT considered to be a low quality burner!).
In the same time I have also burned about 80 TDK media and not run into any problems at all. Not one single problem with the TDK media.

Jewel Case Included.......2004-07-24
Burned movies at 4x in Plextor PX712A (firmware ver. 1.03)without any problems. A good choice if you are starting out with a new DVD authoring tool - lets you start all over if the main menu and video editing results aren't what you wanted. Otherwise save more with spindle packaging and go with DVD+/-Rs.
