Great pictures but problem with toner.......2007-12-21
I love the picture quality and use this all the time. However what happens is the toner cartridge runs out and I end up with many, many sheets of paper. Since this is a kit and you cannot buy the toner separate, The extra photo paper is wasted. The company said maybe I was doing this and that but I did exactly as they said and it did not fix the situation of too little toner for the amount of paper in this kit. Would I still buy it. YES.
No Ink no Print.......2007-12-11
Ink runs out before you finish all the sheets of paper. Sad, because you can't buy the ink by itself. Kodak is ripping people off. Hopefully a competitor will come up with something fast.

I purchased my Kodak Easyshare camera and printer two years ago, and have enjoyed being able to print pictures almost immediately after taking them. Recently attended a family reunion and brought printer along and was able to give everyone pictures I took during the visit. It was really nice to be able to do that, and everyone seemed to be very happy to receive them.

It did not solve my problem.......2007-12-28
I received a Kodak EasyShare C613 digital camera for an early Christmas gift. I called Kodak for instructions to connect the camera to my TV/DVR so I could use it like my previous Canon style camera. I was told that the "dock" would solve that problem. The camera connects to the dock, but THIS camera does NOT have the AV capabilities. Therefore, I need to send the dock back to Amazon for a refund.

The dock works fine. You can set it up so clicking on the button will move (delete from camera, configurable) all pictures from the camera to a directory on your hard drive. It even creates a new directory with today's date as name. Very convenient if you have problem with the most basic computer skills, like creating directories or dragging files from an USB drive. I bought an EasyShare camera plus the dock to a relative so I needed something as simple as possible so it would get used.
The problem is that you can not run EasyShare software using a limited account on Windows XP. It will also not allow you to perform the moving of pictures from the camera using the dock if you are not administrator. Kodak support blames Microsoft and Windows but of course it is Kodak's crappy developers fault, since other programs can access USB drives when running it as a limited accounts users. It don't even help when run as is used to run the program as admin, you need to be logged in with an admin account.
Sucks, but I went for the dock anyway, since I don't know any other one touch solution for moving files from the camera to you computer.
Camera Dock - Buyer Beware.......2007-12-25
Purchased this dock to recharge my Z712IS. This is a must have, as the battery supplied w/the camera only lasted 2 months. Buyer beware as the battery that is supplied w/the dock is NOT compatible w/this model camera. This is the correct dock and once I purchased the correct battery it works great, but at an additional $20+ later. Complained to Kodak, but they don't give a hoot!

The dock works great, but to buy this as a whole kit is not a good deal for your money. The set of rechargeable batteries does not fit the camera that I bought (Z712 IS) and the camera bag is so small that you cannot carry extra batteries or memory cards in it. It is about the size of your palm, and only has a tight strap to wrap your fingers through. If I would have known all of this, I would have only bought the dock, not the entire kit!

-I have the Kodak V705 camera. Easy to use dock to keep the camera battery charged and to transfer photos to my computer with the push of a button . The camera case included is sturdy and is better made than the Targus case I bought. I am happy with the Kodak Camera Kit.
Great Camera for Realtors!.......2007-03-09
With the double wide angle lenses, this camera takes terrific wide angle pictures of houses - inside and outside. It's just what we were looking for. The price is very affordable, even if you add on a camera card (a necessity) and a case. We also bought the dock but haven't used it yet. I've been removing the card and reading pictures from a Scan Disk card reader. It's very easy to use, as far as using the menu features and reviewing pictures. The pictures are an excellent quality. I highly recommend this camera for either business or personal use.
